Why opting for round 3D solar collectors ?
The well thought-out spherical form of the BLOZOEN solar collectors offers certain advantages :
Insensibility to storm
If the collectors are installed on a closed roof construction or on the ground, they do not need to be attached. The wind can't lift up the collectors but presses them down. Because they don't need to be attached, it is not necessary to drill the roof or to use ballast weight.
Longer radiation time of the sun
The spherical form of the saucer, with a diameter of 2m56 (8.4feet) and a height of 40cm (1.3feet), assures that even in case of a low position of the sun the radiation is optimal. The system works longer than in case of inclined installed flat collectors. For this reason we need less collector surface than other systems to warm up the same swimming pool. You could say that the sun turns around our collector. The sun shines on the collector from sunrise to sunset. The heating pipes are fit to a polyester saucer, which makes that the backside of the pipes is completely shut off the open aire by which the brushing wind can not cool them. This increases the efficiency of the system.
Choice of the materials -> guarantee of 10 years
Thanks to our sustained effort to use high quality materials our collectors can resist the ravages of time and we are able to give a guarantee of 10 years. Our first big installations are functioning without problems since 1987.
Frost resistance
The BLOZOEN solar collectors freeze up, but the frost does no damage. It is not necessary to remove the water from the collectors in winter time, it's enough to take away the pressure by opening the screw-cap on the main pipes. The heating pipes are developed to sustain expansion of water or ice.
After the rain comes the sun
On a rainy day, when rain and sun are succeeding, our solar collectors provide energy immediately after the rain shower. The reason is that no water remains between the pipes that first has to evaporate.
Uniform flow without bleeding
If no water should flow through a part of the solar collector (that stays warm), that part could not provide energy. The BLOZOEN solar collectors are designed in a way that every square inch is used and there is a perfect automatically bleeding (the air enters the pool through the water jets). By using a large pipe bore, every risk of obstruction is excluded.
